The Government are keen for all sales, lettings and auctioneers who deal with residential property to hold a professional qualification. In 2019 they released the RoPA report stating that all agency staff who deal in “reserved activities” i.e., conducting viewings, market appraisals, negotiation between and on behalf of clients and purchasers or clients and tenants and who provide direct advice will have to hold a level 3 qualification. Owners of businesses and company directors will have to hold level 4.

Following the Manchester open learning (MOL) workbooks, we teach agents the technical award in residential letting and property management, which means that once you have taken and passed the four exams required you will be qualified to become a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agent (ARLA).

Highly recommend Toby to others looking to qualify
“We have worked with Carrfield for many years and they have continued to support our candidates in unprecedented times with virtual training and revision for those undertaking ARLA and NAEA qualifications. Toby provides engaging and interactive group training sessions as well as 1-2-1 tuition, catering for our candidates needs and building great rapport with them. His expertise and focused training sessions have helped us retain our high pass rates. We would highly recommend Toby to others looking to qualify.”

Highly invaluable
“Toby is a brilliant teacher. He’s clearly passionate about the subject matter, and has a natural talent for bringing complex material to life. Covid-19 meant that training sessions were online rather than face to face, but with no less impact: Toby proved he’s a webinar pro! His willingness to clarify and discuss points has been invaluable and I recommend Toby to anyone looking to achieve success in gaining their professional qualifications”
Julie Hopes

Residential Property Manager - Goodwood Estate

Above and beyond
“I got to know Toby in 2019 when he started training my company on ARLA and NAEA at our head office in Salford. Not only did he get us through the exams, but our knowledge and skill set in both lettings and sales improved massively. Due to this success in 2020, I got Toby to train us on NAEA Commercial and this was done via Zoom due to the COVID restrictions. Not only is Toby a good trainer, but he is now a wonderful friend who goes out of the way to help you, not only in exams but in other legal and technical issues that routinely crop up. I would highly recommend Toby to any one”

I found the Carrfield program both detailed and very informative
“Having worked in property for over 15 years, one finds a tendency to think you know all there is to know about your chosen field. Having just completed a 4 unit, NAEA course in commercial property, I am happy to report that is not the case. I found the Carrfield program both detailed and very informative. Toby’s delivery is always engaging and relaxed and each unit is presented with obvious knowledge and experience. Toby always invites participants to engage in an open forum making the course more interactive than others I have taken. Since completing the course I have also been able to tap into Toby’s extensive knowledge on a number of issues, which he has always been very happy to assist with. I wholeheartedly recommend Carrfield”

Thoroughly enjoyed the units
“Your delivery of the content was superb and the examples you gave I felt we were able to relate to. Thoroughly enjoyed the units, your knowledge is amazing, I can see why (my company) chose you to carry out the courses! Lovely to meet you and I hope our paths cross again.”
Jane

Property Manager

The sessions were really informative
“I think the classes were great, I found it helpful that we went through each section, each time. It has minimized my studying time extensively as technically we studied it all together. If it wasn’t for the classes, I most probably I wouldn’t have been able to be disciplined enough to focus on this subject for 8 + hours before each exam. So, again, thank you, it was highly informative and helpful! I personally also study better when it is explained to me rather than just reading through things.”
Alex

Consultant - Corporate Services

The sessions were really informative
“The sessions were really informative, and it was very helpful to have your insight, considering your extensive industry knowledge and experience. I am very grateful for your help and guidance!”
